There are beautiful pieces of art work placed in two different areas across The Farm campus. We have the “The Arch at the Wheeler Farm” and “Following Ruth”. Both structures were put there by an Art Initiative. These two structures represent the creative spirit Wheeler truly possesses. One of Wheeler Summers’ goals is to build a bridge connecting our curriculum with the curriculum that exists at the Wheeler School. This Art Initiative has become embedded within our summer community. “Following Ruth” has created quite a conversation among our campers. There are two tents surrounding the structures, and just like when you walk into an art museum, on goers are inspired by the art, this is no different. The campers have been interpreting “Following Ruth” and have many thoughtful responses
